University of St Andrews
Full Time United Kingdom 37099 - 44263 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

The Careers Centre delivers a range of specialist careers education, information, advice and guidance to students and graduates to develop their career management skills and enhance their employability. To deliver a joined-up approach, we endeavor to work closely with a range of partners and stakeholders including academic schools, professional service units, alumni, employers, and student societies.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Opportunities Manager, to play a key role in enhancing the employability of our students and graduates, by sourcing and creating opportunities for students from, and wanting to work in, North America. This will involve but not be limited to building long-lasting relationships with employers and alumni to understand the labour markets in North America, sourcing opportunities, creating resources, and organizing and delivering events and workshops both on-campus and in-country.

This role will also involve working closely with other university units, including Admissions and Development (Alumni) to support recruitment and drive alumni engagement, as well as collaborating with other universities to coordinate joint delivery of events.

Educated to degree level, you will be a natural networker who loves to build positive relationships and who is passionate about working with employers and alumni to our students’ benefit. A skilled communicator, you will also have a demonstrable ability to use your initiative, be well organised, and deliver excellent customer service.
