Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Co-ordinator to join our Human Resources team. This will be on a 6 month fixed term contract to begin with a view to becoming permanent.
You will be responsible for providing a professional and effective HR service covering a full HR remit. Overall responsibility will be for HR administration and inbox management, to include the onboarding process for all new starters joining the Company.
MAIN DUTIES:
- First point of contact for all HR-related queries, including mailbox management and responding to queries as appropriate.
- Full HR administration including but not limited to; changes to terms and conditions, contracts of employment, compiling reports, referencing, ensuring accuracy of the HRIS system, onboarding new starters and personnel file management alongside validation of right to work checks.
- Process all HR Lifecycle administration including starters, leavers, changes to personal contractual entitlements (holiday, sickness) ensuring a good understanding of an individual’s terms and conditions of employment.
- Develop SME knowledge in the Access HR (HRIS) system to implement changes to the workflows, development of the system and associated configuration work.
- Working closely with the wider HR team to provide support where required, issuing correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
- Working alongside both the Talent Acquisition team and Payroll team, undertake associated processes to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding process for new starters and leavers.
- Supporting the new starter induction process, including conducting new starter welcome presentations.
- To support HR projects as and when directed by the Head of HR.
- To undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be allocated by your Manager/ Senior Management Team.
- To be compliant with the Data Protection and GDPR legislation.

Essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner, and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Has the right to work legally in the UK
- Experience working in a similar job
- Understanding of HR laws
Desirable
- Previous experience of using a HRIS is advantageous
- CIPD qualified
Role Details:
- £24,000 per annum
- 37.5 hours per week
