Where do you fit in?
We are looking for a studio operative and product maker to join our fast-growing e-commerce company.
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Studio Operative to work within our busy artwork team. You will be responsible for processing customers artwork, creating accurate product visuals, producing high quality print-ready proofs for a variety of promotional products, personalised gifts and learning our print/ personalising processes including our in house laser engraving machines, vinyl cutting machines and heat pressing machines.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working within a similar role and be confident in using Apple Mac and associated software, including Adobe Illustrator. Photoshop and photography skills would be useful but not essential.
`We also require the chosen candidate to have an expectational eye for attention to detail and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The job entails:
- Producing accurate print ready artwork visuals/ proofs for a variety of print processes and to comply with customers requirements
- Communicate effectively with our production and warehouse departments to coordinate orders and prioritise the production of artworks
- Adhere to production procedures and schedules, complete job sheets and update systems
- Setting up accurate print ready artwork for customer orders
- Getting hands on and helping fulfil print, vinyl and engraved orders
- Learn and operate laser engraving machines
- Editing product images in photoshop (training provided)
- Learn how to superimpose artwork onto product images (training provided)
- Creating products designs for calendar moments
Preferable Skills:
- 1+ years work related experience within a similar role
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficient in using a Mac operating system
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and keep to deadlines
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to understand and execute instructions
- Good organisational skills
- Work accurately in a fast paced environment
- Work well under pressure
Advantageous/ Desired Skills:
· Photography skills
· Graphic Design experience
