Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment
- Ensure paint is applied evenly and smoothly without drips or streaks
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while working with paints and chemicals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and painting
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
- Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment for handling large or heavy objects
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate paint application
- Ability to fabricate or assemble components as needed
Note: Previous experience as a painter is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
