Stoneworld is a fast-growing business with a passion for stone that is looking for a motivated operative for our Oxfordshire masonry workshop. Over the past twenty years our specialist masonry factory has grown, with new and modern machinery being added regularly - meaning you can train on some of the most cutting-edge masonry technology available.
Main responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines including Waterjet and 5 Axis Saw.
- Use of hand power tools.
- Producing bespoke products for the private and commercial sectors.
- Helping to maintain a safe and productive environment.
Skills required:
- Forklift experience desirable but not essential.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferable.
- Must have a good eye and attention to detail and be a committed team player.
- An enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
Hours: 7.30am - 5.00pm with occasional weekend overtime available
Salary: £24,000.00 - £29,000.00 depending on experience
Stoneworld is located outside of Oxford in a rural setting, near to Junction 8 of the M40. Due to the limited bus service, you will need to be able to travel to our premises.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday.
Work Location: In person, no opportunity for remote work.
Ability to commute/relocate: Oxford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
