Job Purpose
Assist the HR team in providing a pro-active, professional, and customer-focused HR service to all areas of the business. Working as part of a small HR team, youll provide support across the full
employment lifecycle within a busy and diverse environment.
Job Description
Provide high quality support across the full spectrum of HR administration including:
- Maintain and develop the HR filing system, ensuring all HR data is up to date.
- Complete new starts and leavers administration.
- Prepare and issue contractual documentation.
- Assist with monthly payroll submission (to outsourced provider) and assist with any payroll queries.
- Ensure that all members of staff have a job description.
- Ensure that all staff personnel changes are documented and updated.
- Ensure the timely processing of purchase orders using the company`s procurement system.
- Respond to adhoc requests for management information.
Recruitment Administration
- Actively support and advise hiring managers with recruitment activities.
- Assist with shortlisting of candidates.
- Directly source applicants and liaise with recruitment agencies.
- Coordinate interviews.
- Co-ordinate feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
HR Information Systems
- Input changes to employee records including new starters, leavers and contract extensions.
- Ensure accuracy of HR System data through regular data cleansing activities.
- Assist with training of employees on the HR information system.
- Assist with administration of employee benefits on the flexible benefits platform.
Learning and Development
- Advise managers on available training providers from a preferred supplier list.
- Process training request form approvals and book training courses.
- Administer online training platform and actively promote.
- Gather feedback forms for training to monitor effectiveness.
HR Initiatives
- Assist with HR projects as required.
- Provide advice and guidance on the content and application of HR policies and procedures to employees across the Company.

Knowledge and Experience Required
Essential
- Extensive HR assistant experience in relation to the full employment cycle.
- Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- A good working knowledge of best practice recruitment and selection methods and experience interviewing candidates.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and good HR database skills.
Desirable
- Awareness of latest developments with employment legislation.
- Relevant experience working in the energy sector.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified.
