Job description
Summary:
CHR Recruitment is seeking a skilled Street Lighting HIAB Operative to join our client based in Suffolk. As part of this role, you will assist in the installation of Road Lighting, Traffic Signs, and related equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass excavation, cable laying, installation, and removal of columns, signposts, and feeder pillars. Please note, availability for 24hr callouts on a rota basis to attend emergency works is required.
Requirements:
- Full UK HGV Driving Licence - Class C.
- CPCS Category A36a and c or ALLMI Class C1 and Slinger Signaller Certification.
- Previous Lorry Mounted Crane (Hiab) experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficient in understanding construction drawings.
- Reliable, punctual, and excellent time management skills.
- Strong written and numerical abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in a team for new installation works.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
- Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks.
- Complete all essential paperwork, maintaining records of work carried out and equipment used.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year
