Job description
We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our team in Swansea Bay UHB Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
The post holder will provide administrative and reception services support to facilitate and ensure the smooth, efficient and effective running of the service.
The post holder will work flexibly across services to provide administrative and reception support such as the processing of clinic changes, the correct recording of patient pathways, the retrieval, preparation and filing of patients’ case notes as and when required.
The post holder may be expected to work on other hospital sites to ensure appropriate service cover at all times; this may include cross site working/cross cover within the Health Board.
This post would suit a highly motivated and organised individual with good attention to detail, as the successful candidate will undertake many roles working as a receptionist and clinic coordinator. This includes greeting visitors, dealing with general enquires, booking meeting rooms, managing email accounts, general administrative duties such as checking in deliveries, sorting the post and data input. In addition the individual would be responsible for clinic preparation, processing changes and recording information to ensure a smooth and effective service.
The applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Health Board systems and have good keyboard skills.
They should be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels, able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team, and able to deal with difficult situations and use their initiative.
Experience of working in the NHS would be advantageous.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
