Job description
Based in a retail environment, an opportunity has arisen for a Nightshift Cleaner to join the facilities management team at the Bon Accord Centre
This is a dual role with some security duties you will need to hold an SIA licence.
At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.
You’ll also
- Ensure public areas are clean and tidy for customers
- Use cleaning machines including co-botics
- Ensure the control room is clean and tidy
- Secure premises
- Liaise with centre management and colleagues to ensure clear and consistent communication
- To maintain a safe & friendly environment for all visitors
- To complete regular security patrols ensuring the site is safe and secure
- To effectively monitor CCTV and liaise with police control room, as necessary
You’ll need:
- SIA Licence
- Relevant cleaning experience
- Good communication skills
- Self-disciplined and ability to work on own initiative and confidence to work alone
- Positive & professional attitude
