  • Tues-Fri, 20:00 - 06:00, 30 minute unpaid break. 38 hour week.


Your Role

At Rygor, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nights Supervisor, who has a passion for Setting the Standard for our customers.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, who will be able to control and maximise parts stock and sales and who is able to approach the role with a commercial mindset.


Day to day you will be:

  • Responsible for the supervision of workshop Technicians and dealing on a day to day basis with the Workshop Manager/Controller and customers.
  • Supervising, developing and training the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance
  • Supervising the flow of work for the team into the workshop, allocating work as required and maximising the use of available resources.
  • Ensure collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations.
  • Ensure repair work is completed to schedule.
  • Ensure requested work is completed on time and to the expected standards.
  • Ensure all customers vehicles are washed and vacuumed whenever possible and are handed back to customers in a clean state and tidy condition.
  • Ensure that job packs are written up correctly and the write up substantiates the time taken.
  • Ensure that job extensions are properly authorised and processed.
  • Keep the Workshop Manager/Controller and Service Advisors fully and regularly informed of changes to costs and expected completion times/dates.
  • To take responsibility for subcontracted repairs and ensure the quality of such.
  • Supervising MOT testing and the achievement of a 100% pass rate.
  • To maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the workshops and technical team follow and adhere to all quality, safety and compliance policies.
  • Regular and consistent quality control inspection process for all completed vehicles, to a minimum of 10% throughout.

This role will be a great fit for you if:

  • You have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • You have team supervisory experience and excellent communication skills
