NIGHT WORKER
Salary – £9,516.5 per annum including £1300 Unsociable Hours allowance pro-rata (increasing to approx. £10,050.69)
Job Type – Permanent /Part-Time
Hours – 17.5 hours per week (rolling rota 3 nights on/ 3 off hours are 8pm -12am, sleep-in 8-9am)

This role is based within our team in Liverpool at Picton Road. The project at Picton Road provides supported accommodation to people with an offending background. A team of 5 staff provide 24hr cover.
This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions and housing roles.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as an initial point of reference for service users and external agencies.
· Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the service and respond to faults as discovered.
· Monitor access to the services and visitors and log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.
· Meet the requirements of health and safety policies and practices.
· Escalate incidents to on-call services where needed.
· Maintain accurate written records e.g. incidents, handover, support or risk plans.
· Report any maintenance issues e.g. emergency repairs.

· Understanding and Commitment to the Nacro’s Values.
· Knowledge of the issues affecting people in contact with the Criminal Justice System and/or people experiencing homelessness.
· Understanding of safeguarding.
· Ability to work with vulnerable adults with complex needs (such as substance misuse, physical heath, mental health, seeking employment and housing support).
