Terry Yorath House provides 24-hour care and support for people with physical and/or learning disabilities offering both a residential and respite service. Our aim is to make sure this is not just a place to live but is a home, and the people living here are encouraged and enabled to make their own choices and decisions in as many aspects of their lives as they can and wish to.
The charity are seeking to recruit a Night Support Worker working three nights per week (28.5 hours), to assist in providing 24-hour care and support, which will enhance the quality of life of the people using the service.
Essential Criteria:
- An ability to demonstrate the core values of the Charity
- NVQ2 in care (or willingness to attain)
- Ability to respond to guidance and direction
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to provide personal care
- Maintain confidentiality, honesty and reliability
- Interested, motivated and committed
