Night Security Worker
Location - Lincoln
Hours - 31.5 and 33.5 hours per week (3-week rolling rota, 4 shift on, 4 shifts off 11pm – 8am)
Salary - £17,129.70 - 18,217.3 per annum - including £1300 Unsociable Hours benefit pro-rata (increasing to approx. £18,091.24 - 19,239.89 from 01/04/2023)

Number of roles available - 4 roles available (2x31.5 hours and 2x33.5 hours) across 2 locations
Additional hours might be available as we run 9 x 24/7 services across the county giving you the opportunity to act as cover across the other services when needed, for example to cover sickness and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as an initial point of reference for Nacro service users, visitors and external agencies while on duty.
- Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the housing service and respond to faults as discovered.
- Patrol the geographical location to maximise the safety and security of the building and service users.
- Monitor access to the services and visitors and log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.
- Monitor CCTV systems throughout your shift.
- Conduct relevant Health and Safety checks and pre void checks.
- Support and encourage young people to be a ‘good neighbour’ by promptly addressing any noise, visitor, ASB issues.
- Maintain written records e.g. incidents, handover, support or risk plans.
What we need from you
- To be yourself.
- Experience of managing overnight security, in a residential housing project for excluded groups, including vulnerable/young people.
- Experience of monitoring CCTV systems and managing health and safety issues.
