In addition to the pay stated, you will receive a shift premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00. This will be paid at the pay range minimum rate for your role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role of a Supermarket Assistant involves a range of tasks including advising and serving customers, moving and replenishing stock, carrying out housekeeping activities and handling cash and card transactions according to set procedures. Partners may be expected to work in any area of the branch to support the wider team as required and to maintain the necessary business dress and hygiene standards.

We are inviting applicants who wish to develop their career with Waitrose and to take on supervisory responsibilities within our Night Replenishment Operation after successfully completing training.
Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a customer facing selling or service environment.

Shift Pattern:
Full Time hours of work (37.5 hours per week)
across seven days including weekends on a 2 week rota. Week 1 - Wednesday 20.45-07.00, Thursday 20.45-07.00, Friday 20.15-07.00, Saturday 20.45-07.00. Week 2 - Monday 20.45-07.00, Tuesday 20.45-07.00, Wednesday 20.45-07.00, Thursday 20.15-07.00.
