Job description
4 Shifts on / 4 shifts off
To be responsible for the smooth running of the Nights operation, in the absence of the Duty Manager.
To ensure delivery of the highest standards of product and service, a passionate approach to exceeding our customers expectations and as a champion of our vision and values, promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotel’s targets.
- To carry out Reception duties arising outwith the normal working hours of reception staff.
- Personal protective equipment to be worn/used in line with company guidelines.
- To post all income and guest charges not processed during the receptionists shift.
- To compile full supporting documentation relating to each days business to be passed to the Accounts Department.
- To check all balancing of daily business posting and monies received and processed by reception.
- To ensure conference and meeting rooms are consistently set to the company standard and that all essential work is completed by 7am.
- To have an awareness and understanding of operational costs related to the performance of my job role
- To carry out hotel night security & car park patrols at the agreed times.
- To ensure that only residents are on the premises once all functions have finished.
- Ensure the public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy at all times during the shift.
· Report any maintenance defects to Management immediately
Experience using OPERA would be a bonus but, not essential.
Job to start mid August 2023
