- This role would be a good step for an individual who has an interest and passion in working within the Hospitality Industry, and wants to gain further knowledge and awareness of the Front Desk. The ideal candidate would be proactive, extroverted and have a proven track record in working in a guest focused environment.
YOUR PERSONAL IMPACT
- Assist the Night Manager in cross checking and balancing work completed during the day for all outlets on a shift basis.
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
- Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
- Serve welcome drinks to guests.
- Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Complete Express Check out envelopes.
- Identify any special requests.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
