We are currently looking for Night Care Assistants at Glebe House in Almondsbury.

Responsibilities and duties for the Carer role are:

  • Delivering high quality personal care to our residents
  • Ensuring that every individual within the home has a personalised and meaningful experience of life.
  • Participating in nursing procedures to assist our nursing staff
  • Maintaining the dignity and privacy of residents and respecting their individual needs
  • Assisting with serving meals and drinks
  • Assisting with other tasks as requested to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Attending and participation in orientation, mandatory and other training as require

Requirements for the Carer role:

  • We are looking for experienced Care Assistants as well as motivated and enthusiastic individuals looking to start a career in care
  • We offer NVQ Health and Social Care level 2 training for other care staff.

Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage:

  • Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment
  • Level 2 qualification in health and social care or equivalent.

PAY

As an employee (23 years +) you will earn

  • Basic pay of £11.00 (No NVQ) or £11.15 (With NVQ)
  • 10% additional pay at weekends
  • 50% extra pay on Bank holidays.
