We currently recruiting a night time Care assistant
You will be required to work 2 or 3 nights per week. Hours are 8pm-8am, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays and will have responsibility for administering medications during the night and will be committed to training.
Responsibilities:
Build relationships with adults at risk of harm
To promote and maintain a high standard of care at all times.
To assist with the updating of residents care plans and risk assessments on our electronic system
Being vigilant and reporting/acting upon changes to health
Provide personal care
Ensure high quality care is given
To supervise care staff around issues of best practice, recording in electronic progress notes such as fluid input/ output, nutrition charts etc.
To assist in maintaining safe environments for residents and staff
To have the confidence to work with minimal supervision and from own initiative
All aspects of personal care (washing, dressing, assisting residents to use the toilet, administering medication)
Regular continence care
Safety and security of the premises.
Assisting residents in and out of bed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: £12.00 per hour
