Careford Lodge is a care home providing support for 18 elderly people. The home works to ensure the highest level of care for its clients and also the personal development of every member of staff. We provide a homely environment that supports the physical and emotional well-being of the people living in our home, some of whom have Dementia.
Description:
To deliver the highest possible quality of care and support for all our elderly residents, under the guidance and supervision of the Home Manager, care coordinator and the senior team, and to undertake other activities to assist the running of the home as requires.
To perform personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and assisting with the toileting needs of our residents with dignity and respect as outlined in the service user's individual care plans. To respect the confidentiality of our residents and their home life at all times. To create and maintain good communication with all residents. To make and maintain effective working relationships with all staff and other care professionals. To assist with serving snacks, drinks, monitoring intake and reporting any concerns to Senior Care Assistant/Manager. To complete written records as required
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £10.90-£11.70 per hour
