Care Dorset have opportunities for dependable, compassionate care workers.
We are looking for 3 waking Night Care Assistants for The Lawns, a residential care home in Weymouth offering accommodation for up to 38 people some of whom have dementia.
Duties and responsibilities
To provide care through the night, checking residents at regular intervals according to their care plan.
To respond promptly to calls for assistance while respecting, at all times, the privacy, dignity and choice of the residents.
To maintain records and report observations about the health and well-being of individual residents to the appropriate senior person.
Contribute to the care team’s knowledge and awareness of the changing needs of residents at the daily handovers and attend home meetings.
Any other duties as directed such as assisting with housekeeping duties.

Post 1
WK 1 - Tuesday, Thursday – 9.45 – 7.15
WK 2 – Wednesday, Saturday – 9.45 – 7.15
Post 2
WK 1 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 9.45 – 7.15
WK 2 – Wednesday, Thursday – 9.45 – 7.15
Post 3
WK 1 - Monday, Wednesday - 9.45 – 7.15
WK 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday – 9.45 – 7.15
