NHS Talking Therapies - EMDR Therapist
Salary: £35, 572 - £40,588 per annum (£21, 343 - £24, 352 Pro Rata)
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: Part Time - 3 days per week
Location: Faversham, Kent/Hybrid
Eligibility Requirements: Enhanced DBS check and Right to Work in the UK

An opportunity has arisen to work in an exciting and dynamic service providing psychological interventions and stepped care treatment to people with common mental health problems in primary care as part of the NHS Talking Therapies national service.
We are looking for a Psychological Therapist who has the additional EMDR modality training alongside EMDR experience. We are looking for people who have the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to join our team who are committed to making a difference within the FCS Talking
Therapies Service in the Faversham community.
The service has been well established providing a stepped care, evidenced-based model for the treatment of people with common mental health problems. You will be hard-working and able to meet specified targets to deliver a high quality NHS Talking Therapies service to the local population.
What will the role include?:
Flexible in their approach to work.
Be able to demonstrate the ability to complete thorough risk assessments and to manage this well.
Have a recognised professional qualification to diploma level in counselling or psychotherapy, and a qualification in EMDR.
Membership of an accreditation with a relevant professional body
Be eager to make a career in NHS Talking Therapies.
Extensive experience of treating patients within a time limited counselling model.
Experience of telephone or online working would be helpful.
Applicants must be BACP or UKCP accredited and hold an additional NHS EMDR qualification.
You will receive regular support and professional supervision.
