Job description
Responsibilities:
- Route Coordination: Plan and coordinate delivery routes for our furniture products to ensure timely and efficient deliveries to customers.
- Order Tracking: Monitor the progress of deliveries, tracking shipments, and ensuring that orders are delivered within specified timeframes.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any issues that arise.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate transportation records, including delivery schedules, invoices, and customer information.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address transportation-related issues such as delays, discrepancies, and route changes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards to uphold the highest level of safety for our drivers and products.
Hours / Days:
- Working Monday to Friday.
- Starting at 08:00 until 17:00.
Experience:
- Previous experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems for data entry and tracking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and procedures is a plus
