We are looking to appoint the right individual as a Tattoo Apprentice/Studio Manager with The Devil’s Favourite Tattoo Club based in Gateshead
Our Newstart programme is a 5 month, paid placement programme that aims to give real work experience, in a real job, with a real wage; exclusively to our Karbon Customers in career-starter roles; so you can get a boost to your career journey. The application process is all done via our Foundations for Life team, who will provide you with application and interview preparation support; and if you’re successful; continued support as you go through your placement.
About the role
You will be carrying out the basic, but essential tasks required to run the Tattoo studio.
Working the desk and welcoming customers when they arrive
Support the artists with their needs, and clean and tidy the artists studios
Help with social media and taking bookings.
This role is a perfect stepping stone on a career path into management or Tattoo Apprenticeship!
About you
You will be a Karbon Homes tenant.
You will be looking for a chance to jump start your career – whether that’s
after a long stint not in work, or if you want to change your career path.
We’re not looking for experience, but we are looking for someone who is
hard working, hygienic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
You will have excellent social and customer skills, and know your way
around social media.
You will have an aptitude for Art and an appreciation and (some!) knowledge
of the Tattoo industry – or keen to find out more!
If you love art, then this can also develop into a Tattoo Apprenticeship!
