As a Management Information Analyst you will:

As member of the UKI Command Centre team you will have the opportunity to lead and influence the delivery and implementation of tactical and strategic MI initiatives across a diverse and wide range of areas. Your will be one that scopes, plans and co-ordinates to deliver internal and Client facing MI and insights across the business. We are building a new capability and the MI team is an integral part of our Delivery Command Centre where we want to grow great MI talent. It will be part of your to help us shape this successfully at the same time as developing a reputation as a team for high quality engagement and delivery to the business.

  • Working with the Delivery Leadership, you’ll create and own the development of the MI vision and strategy in support of Accenture Operations growth agenda
  • Working collaboratively across the Delivery Centre and working with the Client and Delivery Leadership to understand project pipelines and plan MI resource to meet demand
  • Develop a range of training material for the MI team and stakeholders. Working with external providers in creating quality training collateral for the business to support them in developing relevant MI and analytical capabilities
  • Collaborate with other specialist teams to understand project pipelines and apply a consistent and pragmatic approach to plan the MI team’s resources accordingly
  • Sharing knowledge and insights with the wider Operations community to help shape best practice and ensure business goals are in line with Accenture strategy
  • Being part of a team of MI professionals ensuring resource optimisation for planned, cyclical and unplanned activity.
  • To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of Accenture’s commitment to creating an inclusive culture.

We are looking for the following skills:

  • Effective stakeholder management with senior stakeholders, to ensure effective co-ordination, design and delivery of all MI programmes/projects
  • A strong track record of working in an MI position within a Professional Service, Financial Services or big corporate and experience of managing teams
  • Experience of successfully delivering large scale MI projects
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, analytic technology architecture design and service processing
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to create business cases and secure buy in to MI projects
  • Build and maintain robust MI governance
  • A proven track record of strong team management including creating a compelling vision, communicating clearly and developing a culture of continuous process improvement.
  • Ideally experience in designing and writing SQL queries to create and modify data structures, update data and create complex reports
  • Ideally experience managing SQL servers, including the setup and management of custom built applications
  • Experience in supporting operational and management reporting needs. Ability to understand reporting requirements of a range of stakeholders across the organisation, analysing data sources and then designing and delivering BI and MI reports to meet those requirements.
