Bonniebabi Newborn Photographer
As a (part time/full time) Bonniebabi Newborn Photographer you will be meeting new mums on a clinical maternity ward in the hospital who have recently given birth. This is a hands on role and you will be confident in handling precious newborns and arranging them safely to take those precious professional first photos.
This is a unique role and you will need to be confident to work in this clinical environment and ensure that you are able to quickly build rapport, respect the privacy, dignity and decency of women who have just given birth, providing the ultimate bedside experience.
You will need to be self-motivated to deliver a professional photographic service, to all willing postnatal mums on a clinical NHS maternity ward. This is a uniquely sympathetic soft sell role - your success is dependent on respectfully capturing high quality portraits, that new parents will want to keep as an ever-lasting memory of their new family.
Monday - Friday mornings @ 4 hours a day
Contracted Hours - 20 Hours per week
Closing Date - Friday 8th September
Start date - Monday 18th Sepetmber

You will be a professional, confident, friendly and enthusiastic person, that adheres to our Bonniebabi Values who is able to quickly build rapport with new parents & hospital colleagues.
In addition, you will be quick to learn, with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team
Oh and of course, you will need to love interacting with Newborn babies and their families!
Previous Experience
· Customer service experience, minimum of 2 years
· Photographic experience beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
· Experience of handling newborn babies
What we can offer
- £10.50 per hour
- 28 days annual leave (includes 8 bank holidays) Pro Rata
Due to the requirement to access and work on the Maternity Ward, and the sensitivity of this environment, in order to respect the privacy, dignity and decency of women on those wards who have just given birth, we can only accept female applications.
At Bonniebabi, we are passionate about developing our staff, therefore you will be required to attend meetings, training sessions/workshops, and regular 121’s with your Line Manager.

You will have the ability to perceptively “read the situation” before approaching any bed and/or room – giving consideration as to whether it is the right time to approach.
