We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Product Developer to join our innovation team at Krispy Kreme UK & IRE. Ensuring that Krispy Kreme delivers a rich pipeline of innovation to the business will be your driver. You will be responsible for accelerating our growth plans for existing and new platforms; from our core and campaign Doughnuts, Coffee and Beverages, to breakthrough innovation in snacking and unlocking sales with exciting new categories.
This role will take centre stage for the creation, development and execution of our permissible range of products which includes; lower calories, lower sugar & Vegan.
Your new role:
- Be responsible for developing and launching our innovation plans including core and LTO Doughnuts for our campaign calendar for the UK and Ireland (your remit will also include a focus on developing NPD for our permissible indulgence platform)
- Work in collaboration with our Head of Food and Senior Brand & Campaign Manager for campaigns and new platforms on exciting and relevant pipeline development
- Utilise your expert presenting skills to showcase new products to our senior team for product approvals.
- Liaise with suppliers for all innovation in your category from briefing, concepts, samples and launch.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders on sourcing, costings and technical approval of new ingredients
- Track and monitor NPD performance and customer response developing a strong understanding of key drivers, triggers and tangible data.
- Complete internal & external consumer research
- Get hands on with cross-functional teams including Operations and Compliance to create viable operational procedures for all new products being developed.
- Ensuring that appropriate packaging is developed for new products to optimize quality to consumer

Skills and experience:
- You’ll naturally be hugely passionate about food, keeping up with the latest trends and innovations and have a creative mind-set.
- Ideally you will have worked in a similar capacity within Sweet Treats, Bakery or similar and have 2 + years in Development
- Have proven experience of project management whereby leading and delivering multiple product launches from ideation through to launch.
- Be able to build great working relationships within NPD and across the business
- A qualification or educational background in a relevant subject e.g., food science/technology would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills, be detail conscious and confident in presenting to key stakeholders.
- Thrive in a small, commercially focused and fast-paced business environment
- Full clean driving license
