Harte Consulting has a lovely opportunity for a New Homes Sales Consultant to join a leading Yorkshire Developer who are experts in their field of designing, building, and selling New Homes across the region.

With a strong and healthy pipeline already in place, the New Homes Sales Consultant role will suit someone who is working within a sales and customer focused position currently, who is predominantly communicating face to face with their customers and who enjoy working to individual and team targets.

Under the guidance of your fellow colleagues such as the Sales Manager and Senior Sales Consultants, you will be well supported and a master of your own learning. You will achieve New Homes Sales, in line with achieving set targets whilst ensuring company standard procedures are followed, maximising revenues wherever possible, and positively contributing to the company’s growth. You will also become responsible for all aspects of presentation on a Development!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deal effectively with existing & prospective purchasers in a professional and engaging manner
  • Be proactive & swiftly follow up any leads received via email, telephone, Head Office & Rightmove.
  • Organising the maintenance, cleanliness and presentation of the Marketing Suite, Show Homes and landscaping
  • Conduct weekly checks to ensure all on & off-site signage is accurate, clean & in a satisfactory condition & highlight any issues to The Sales Manager.
  • Conduct weekly checks on the development web site page & Right Move web site highlighting any errors or amends.
  • Have a full awareness of all New Build Competitors in the local area & conduct a monthly report.
  • Generate and maintain a positive working relationship with local Estate Agents to attract new leads to the development.
  • Research the local area to acquire knowledge on all Amenities, Education, Retail Outlets & transport links.
  • Utilise & promote Company Purchasing Assistance Incentives effectively to ensure a good flow of sales whilst Financial Advisors maximising profit at all times.
  • Positively promote the features & benefits of the use of company nominated Panel Solicitors and attend the weekly Meeting with their Site Manager
  • Highlight any issues with unsold units & present ideas / action plan to The Sales Manager in order to help achieve a sale.
  • Up sell Purchaser Extras from the Excellence Range in order to enhance company revenues.
  • Conduct daily inspections on any completed unsold stock units & compile a report on a weekly basis for The Site Manager to rectify any noted defects.
  • Maintain regular contact on a weekly basis with existing purchasers, the purchaser, their IFA & Solicitor to monitor all ongoing sales through to exchange of Contracts.
  • Ensure that all plots are fully ready for Home Tour
  • Ensure that Home Tours are booked in with the purchaser & Site Manager
  • Ensure Plots are ready for legal completion
  • Ensure that Legal Completion Handovers are conducted in a professional & knowledgeable manner
  • Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the groups Health & Safety Policy in order to ensure a safe working environment

The Person

  • Be available to work weekends 10.30am to 5.30pm and be flexible to work outside of normal working hours to support the company needs to support key selling times and events.
  • Desirable but not essential - knowledge of The New Build Industry OR Housing Market.
  • Essential - Proven track record in another sales and customer service sales-based environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and Oral.
  • Ability to promote the company Brand positively.
  • High level of organisational skills.
  • Full driving licence and own car.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and to follow company procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
