UE04: £22,630.00 - £24,715.00 per annum
College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Divinity
Open Ended Contract – Permanent: Full Time - 35 Hours per Week
The Opportunity:
To be the initial point of contact to the School for visitors, and students, offering a prompt, professional, friendly and efficient front-of-house reception service for New College. The postholder will also provide a range of administrative support activities to assist the Divinity Professional Services team in the day-to-day running of the School.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Excellent customer service experience to include outgoing personality, competent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, friendly, helpful and approachable manner, tact and diplomacy.
- An interest in people, empathy and a willingness to become involved, and awareness of cultural issues.
- Presentable, punctual, maintaining a tidy work environment
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, good organisational skills
- Flexible approach to deal with a variety of requests from staff and students
- Ability to use initiative and a pro-active approach to seeking out information
- Good understanding of what it means to provide an excellent customer service
