Open Ended Contract – Permanent: Full Time - 35 Hours per Week

The Opportunity:

To be the initial point of contact to the School for visitors, and students, offering a prompt, professional, friendly and efficient front-of-house reception service for New College. The postholder will also provide a range of administrative support activities to assist the Divinity Professional Services team in the day-to-day running of the School.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Excellent customer service experience to include outgoing personality, competent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, friendly, helpful and approachable manner, tact and diplomacy.
  • An interest in people, empathy and a willingness to become involved, and awareness of cultural issues.
  • Presentable, punctual, maintaining a tidy work environment
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, good organisational skills
  • Flexible approach to deal with a variety of requests from staff and students
  • Ability to use initiative and a pro-active approach to seeking out information
  • Good understanding of what it means to provide an excellent customer service
