Job description
This role is UK based however as it is a client facing role, therefore it is preferable that you are be based along the M4 corridor.
The main purpose of this role is to secure new business sales and lead account management activities in MOD, focused on selling technology consulting, digital services, CRM, cloud, data and analytics, cyber, automation, testing and application management.
Reporting into MOD Account Director, supporting the ongoing growth of the UK MOD business.
1. £9m new business sales target
2. Building and maintaining active and effective customer relationships with Key Client Stakeholders (Commercial, IT and business)
3. Providing account and client management for ongoing engagements supporting growth and client satisfaction
4. Maintaining and developing the opportunity pipeline for new and existing accounts.
5. Co-ordinating and leading on new bids and working with strategic partners (e.g. Microsoft, and AWS) as required.
Essential
1. Current SC or DV security clearance – or the ability to be so cleared (UK National).
2. Strong Sales ethic
3. Ability to work on own and as part of a team
4. Proven Central Government and Public Security customer network
5. Understanding of new world thinking:
a. Digital Development and Agile
b. Cloud and SaaS
c. Data, Analytics and AI
d. Technology Consultancy
6. Experience of sales / account management in UK Public Sector and related industries
7. Proven client management and internal stakeholder management skills

1. Previous MOD or Private Sector Defence experience
