Networking Warehouse Operative

Global Resale is looking for an Networking Warehouse Operative to join the team!
Global Resale partners with manufacturers, resellers, and leasing companies to source large volumes of retired and replaced IT/Electronic equipment, and sells to the best equipment dealers and resellers. www.globalresale.com.
Summary: Reporting to the Networking Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader, diligently work through incoming devices ensuring all configuration and unnecessary data is cleared, the device is in a good, functional condition and appropriately graded ready for resale whilst adhering to company policies and practices such as safe manual handling and PAT testing.
Key Accountabilities:
- PAT testing devices
- Connecting to devices, performing password recoveries as necessary
- Clearing the devices of any configuration and user data
- Performing repairs as/when necessary, including reinstalling operating systems onto devices
- Appropriately grading the devices based on their cosmetics and functionality
- Registering all devices ready for uploading into the companies database
- Safely storing all devices onto pallets
- Safely wrapping pallets of finished items and accurately locating into racking
- Housekeeping, keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe from hazards
- Helping the shipping department pick and pack orders as/when necessary
- Performing additional task as requested, such as generated test logs, port testing, helping other departments, etc
Principal Candidate Specification:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experienced Windows operating system and office products knowledge, especially with Excel
- Ability to multitask and manage change
- Can manage a dynamic, ambiguous, and fast paced environment
- Detail orientated
- General knowledge of business and/or industry
- High level of attention to detail
- Willingness to flex into other job roles from time-to-time as production demands dictate
- Basic knowledge of networking systems
- Basic computer knowledge/ I.T experience
- Enterprise Test and Asset Management experience
- Experience within the Test environment
