Job Description:
As a Cellular Wireless Engineer at our automotive company, your expertise will be central to our efforts in enhancing in-vehicle wireless connectivity. Your role will involve leveraging your solid background in wireless communication and your extensive knowledge of 3GPP specifications to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge cellular network for our vehicles.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and troubleshoot cellular wireless systems for our vehicles during vehicle development phase, with a focus on technologies such as 4G/LTE, 5G NR, and beyond.
2. Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure seamless integration of cellular wireless systems into our vehicles and associated services.
3. Develop technical documentation, system diagrams, procedures, and guidelines related to our cellular wireless systems.
4. Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing cellular connectivity, including network optimization and the development of new features or services.
5. Regularly perform audits and monitoring of system performance to maintain the highest level of performance and reliability.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cellular connectivity issues in a timely and effective manner.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cellular wireless communication and automotive systems.
8. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cellular wireless technologies and 3GPP specifications.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing or implementing cellular wireless systems.
3. Deep understanding of 3GPP specifications and technologies, including 4G/LTE and 5G NR.
4. Solid knowledge of wireless communication principles, network protocols, and network management tools.
5. Proficient in using network analysis and debugging tools.
6. Exceptional troubleshooting skills, and the ability to resolve complex network issues effectively.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Relevant certifications like CWNA, CWNE, or CWAP in wireless communication is highly preferable. Experience and knowledge in Automotive context also are preferable.
9. Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $60.00 - $63.00 per hour
Schedule:
