Job description
We are working with a diverse, global leader based in Coventry. They are looking for an experienced Network engineer to provide IT Support to all functional areas and at customer locations. The role will require you to be competent with an array of 1st and 2nd Line support capabilities, as well prior experience working with communication performance of LAN/WAN.
Some of the Key skills you will have are:
Software:
- Comms - Cisco networking experience including Switches and Wireless Access points, TCP/IP protocol, VPN (Pulse/DUO), DHCP, DNS & Routing
- Cabling - structured cabling system, category 5 Ethernet & fibre
- £43,000 base + benefits.
- Hybrid working 3 days in an office and 2 from home.
Some of the Key skills you will have are:
- Work experience in IT System Support Environment
- MCITP /MCTS SQL 2016 (or above) and MCSE/MCP Windows 2016 (or above) certifications preferred
Software:
- Windows Server 2016 / 2019
- Windows 10 Workstations & MS Office 365
- Microsoft SQL 2016 / 2019
- Avamar cloud backup software
