Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of a next gen software company who have a vision for the future of broadband; their team are building to increase consumer and enterprise value across the rapidly growing internet broadband sector by redefining approaches to automation, analytics, and improved tooling.
· As a Network Engineer you will play an instrumental role in planning, building, configuring, deploying, and establishing SOPs and documentation for the whole lifecycle of PON access-layer and lab networks.
· Working with the network planning team to integrate into the core network and with trained Field Engineers who look after the passive side of the access layer.
· Aiding the Network Development team for any networking requirements.
· Working with the customer network team to establish procedures and processes for the daily operations for all customer circuit builds.
· This role will probably not be suitable for anyone with enterprise experience.

· L2/L3 fundamentals

· PON (XGSPON mainly but also some GPON)
Desirable knowledge:
· EVPN
· SR
· CGNAT
· PPPoE
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000.00-£650,000.00 per year
