Network Engineer
We are looking to hire an experienced network engineer to manage and maintain our company’s enterprise network.
You will be delivering network engineering projects and handling advanced support issues.
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network architecture.
Designing and implementing business solutions using common network equipment.
Monitoring and diagnosing performance issues.
Designing, writing, and updating both system documentation and network diagrams.
Network Engineer Responsibilities:
Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
Installing and configuring networking hardware.
Creating and implementing network security measures.
Mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.
Conducting regular network performance tests.
Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff.
Dealing with escalated network support issues.
Drawing up network status reports.
Network Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous work experience as a networking engineer with five or more years of experience in Firewalls and LAN/WAN networks
Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS.
Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers.
Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
High level problem-solving and communication skills.
