You will be part of our networking expert team in operations, your time will be spent on improvement projects, but you will also be the first call when a location experiences a Network outage. Clearing up old setups, re-cabling network racks, reviewing Wi-Fi installs and configuration, planning new site openings and preparing a list of hardware needed will be within your responsibilities.
You will have to be a team player, able to communicate well with colleagues and organise multiple teams into working together on the same task. Part of the project work will involve detailed documentation, enabling easy support of the systems on a later stage
- Plan and deploy new network solutions on newly opened warehouses/shops/restaurants throughout Europe.
- Be heavily involved in replacing all network hardware, based on the new global network strategy.
- Taking ownership of users’ issues and identifying appropriate solutions to resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the documentation library is up to date and any new system designs, fixes or guides are added as part of the project/ticket work.
- Discuss the project/ticket progress with the Head of Infrastructure and/or Senior Network Engineer on a regular basis and plan for upcoming large pieces of work.
- Implement regular changes to live systems, requiring work with other team members and/or external partners.
- Organise and update all project work into the ticketing system, making sure the business can track the progress of ongoing tasks.

We are looking for someone who ...
- At least +5 year experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful network deployments end-to-end.
- Proven experience in cabling, cable management and hardware installation
- Knowledge of deploying and troubleshooting WiFi systems (Mainly Cisco Meraki)
- Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, Spanning tree, Monitoring Systems (PRTG)
- You are a clear and engaging communicator, strong written and verbal English
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to look at a problem from a different angle.
- Able to prioritise workload and deal with every situation with great attention to detail while working independently
