The Property Team requires a Real Estate Assistant to work in our refrigeration team. You’ll be helping with the exciting development and expansion of the Refrigeration, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines within the Aldi Property Estate. The team is also responsible for National Projects in all regions and we are looking for an excellent individual with experience in engineering and/or project management.

Your New Role
To provide operational and administrative support to the Technical Services team including taking responsibility for the administration and delivery of projects, maintenance and the realisation of cost savings through the development of our store specification.
The role requires experience in an administration or analytical role whilst experience in either project or maintenance roles would be beneficial. Strong inter-personal and communication skills are also required as the role involves regular engagement with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role will entail the management and administration of the following activities:
- Provide organisational and administrative support to the National Property Manager and wider team.
- Monitoring, managing and reporting of BMS systems, SAP and CAFM systems.
- Day to day troubleshooting of facility management platforms.
- Drive the development of facility management platforms.
- Remotely monitor stores set points and parameters then update and advise Regions accordingly.
- User access and management to online platforms.
- Prepare, analyse, and create reports and presentation when required, using a combination of Excel, Powerpoint, Word and property management platforms.
- Manage automated reports on asset movements, energy usage, alarms, and set points.
- Diary management.
- Monitor the National Refrigeration inbox.
- Prepare and create memos and minutes.
- Organise and lead events such as training workshops or review meetings.
- Coordinate, manage, monitor and report on National contractor performance (KPI’s), standards, compliance and projects.
- Process invoices, and associated documents in accordance with departmental processes.
- Financial forecasting and planning.
- Ensure the electronic filing of documents, including scanning of documents and upload of information on to asset management software.
- Collate, manipulate and analyse complex data.
- Day to day management or interaction with external contractors or consultants.

What You’ll get in Return
- Salary starting from £34,690 rising to £40,510
