As National Key Account Manager UK you become part of our yfood mission by being responsible for managing and building our offline retail business with existing key accounts of the UK food retail landscape and the acquisition of new accounts. You'll lead our key accounts and help us accelerate our Retail sales and distribution.
You will demonstrate how you deliver value and grow the business and you will be supported by the Head of Retail to whom you report into. You become a part of a highly motivated team with flat hierarchies, quick decision-making processes and a high level of responsibility. yfood offers a strong career path with progression and development opportunities.
YOUR MISSION
- Responsible for the key account management and relationship building of UK retail partners
- Manage, grow and win new businesses to drive distribution of products and maximise margin
- Strategic forecasting of accounts orders
- Identify and exploit business opportunities in the UK retail landscape
- Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions and assist in the planning of trade marketing activities and activation plans aimed at increasing sales at UK retail partners
- Produce account's reporting and pre- and post-promotion activity
- Act as an interface between our retail partners and relevant yfood HQ department for all account-related inquiries
- Manage effective communication of Brand plans to Retail partners and wholesalers
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- You are based in the UK (within M25 London is ideal) as it is a Hybrid role, with occasional travel to our head office in Munich
- You have at least 3+ years FMCG sales experience in the UK, dealing with retailers like Holland & Barrett, Co-op, Tesco, Sainsburys etc.
- You have strong experience in account management and effective building relationship internally and externally
- You have strong commercial acumen and have the ability to prepare solid proposals tailored to account's requirements
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and a high affinity for numbers
- You are ambitious and target-oriented, have big picture thinking and a great problem-solver
- You are able to work independently and be hands-on, and also collaboratively
