About the opportunity
We are recruiting for a National Health and Safety field support Partner who will be supporting the business and assisting with the implementation of new or existing H&S-related legislation, rules, and Company standards to include fire risk assessment and accident prevention and Health and Safety site inspections
You will co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects of Health and Safety. Establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety within Poundland are adhered to.
The role is a National Role and will require flexible working hours to ensure that the business needs are met. The successful candidate must be able to commit time away from home to establish working relations across all Poundland and Dealz stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

What you'll be doing...
- Completing prevention inspections regularly and ensuring records are maintained
- Completing Fire Risk Assessments Nationwide for the business, ensuring that the process is managed and maintained accordingly
- Supporting the investigation of accidents and ensuring all required documentation is completed where necessary
- Advising Management in Stores, Offices and on-site of health, safety and environmental matters and supporting this process to ensure all advice is incorporated into day-to-day processes and operations
- Ensuring the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations
- Keeping up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation
