What you’ll be doing
Undertake an overarching management role supporting business engagement, bidding, and management of frameworks to maximise return on investment. Under the direction of the Commercial Director, you will be supporting the business in delivering the Executive Board’s business growth objectives via the Framework Bidding and Management Process.
You will be responsible for:
- Engagement – In collaboration with Regional Leads you will ensure engagement is undertaken with target framework organisations to inform the Go-No-Go process.
- Bidding – Supporting the with BWB’s bid submissions are conveyed in a consistent and impactful manner, including:
- Internally, engaging with colleagues at all levels to support the identification and production of suitable bid material content that will achieve BWB’s commercial needs.
- Externally, liaising with other suppliers (architects, master planners, other design organisations) to generate bid material that supports and enhances BWB’s submission.
- Management – Assisting the Executive Board with setting framework financial targets and supporting in achieving those targets.
- Effective resource management of the Resilient Income Team.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant demonstratable experience across a range of bids/pursuits.
- An organised, self-motivated and experienced Bid/Framework Manager, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to successfully undertake bid engagement and framework management.
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders/SMEs to deliver bid submissions on time and to the best quality possible.
- Skilled at creating written content that both engages and sells the skills of BWB.
- A proven track record of delivering multiple bids of varying sizes, including working with third party organisations.
- Strong editing skills with the ability to develop, maintain and apply a consistent BWB voice/tone to bid content either produced personally, or by others.
- Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills.
- Proactive approach to quickly resolving problems and issues.
- Ability to interface at Board level to ensure strategy is defined and implemented.
- Demonstrable team management and resource allocation skills.
