About the Role:
Ferrero presents an incredible opportunity to join our team as a National Account Manager - Grocery. By becoming a member of our professional team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence in all aspects of our work. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the relationship with the client's central entities. This includes negotiating and executing contracts, as well as developing a comprehensive sales plan.
You will also provide support to the Sales Manager in defining sales strategies, which encompasses target programs, commercial initiatives, and promotional policies. Your expertise and contributions will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and ensuring the continued success of our organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
As National Account Manager - Grocery, you will play a pivotal role in aligning trade/promotional budgets with business objectives. You will contribute to the preparation of sales volume budgets, broken down by channel and customer, and support forecast proposals while monitoring assigned structure costs.
In client development, you will ensure the achievement of sales objectives and assist in defining commercial priorities aligned with Trade Marketing plans. You will set growth targets for key clients, monitor their performance, and proactively address any gaps or issues that arise. Collaborating closely with the BUC (Business Unit Controller), you will participate in negotiations and contract closures, and provide vital sales information to management for the UK&I market.
Additionally, you will maintain strong relationships with UK&I channels and customers, staying informed about the marketplace. Managing information systems, you will oversee customer structures, update master data, and ensure accurate invoicing processes. You will propose objectives and sales strategies to the BUC, identify opportunities for business development, and drive growth initiatives such as distribution and listing.
As a leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing your assigned team, fostering a positive work environment based on Group values. You will recruit, motivate, coach, and empower team members while ensuring their professional development through performance evaluations and proposed initiatives.

You will have a strong commercial acumen, negotiation prowess, and influencing abilities that will drive positive outcomes and informed decision-making. In addition to strong verbal and numeric reasoning skills, you will effectively analyse data and communicate your ideas.
Your engaging personality and understanding of the importance of internal and external influence will help you build strong relationships.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technical platforms, including social media, will be crucial in navigating the digital landscape.
Additionally, your cultural awareness and interest in international development, along with your prior FMCG experience, will contribute to your success in this role.
