National Account Manager

We are looking for a freight forwarding professional with a successful track record of selling International Air and Ocean freight services.
The NAM is responsible for achieving their assigned sales plan and generating profitable revenue growth. By leveraging an array of multimodal solutions you will consult and acquire new business whilst developing base customer accounts portfolio. Comprising of Middle Market and Enterprise customers, the NAM will analyse customers’ current supply chain needs to create and present appropriate solutions.

Successful candidate must:
- Be a hunter- with a clear focus on bringing on new business in order to drive revenue growth and deliver sales plan target
- Build successful partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels of customers’ organisation.
- Cultivate relationships and generate revenue opportunities
- Respond to internal and external customer concerns
- Collaborate with operations to implement customer accounts
- Deliver consistently on agreed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Successful candidate will need:
- Excellent communication skills and close attention to detail
- Excellent negotiations skills with a successful track record.
- Must have freight forwarding experience in Air and Ocean services.
- Must have 3-5 years minimum sales experience.
- Ability to conduct competitor and territory analysis
- Business, financial, industry and supply chain knowledge
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships
- Tenacity and drive to meet and exceed ambitious targets
