Job description
Job Title: Babysitter/Nanny
Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities and meals
- Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and specific care needs
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's well-being and any updates or incidents that occur during your time together
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Reliable transportation to travel to the family's home
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Background check may be required
