NANNY Cheltenham, England
Job description
We are looking for someone energetic, kind, and hard working to join us as a full-time nanny to look after our two children (one boy who is 3 years old and one girl who is 1 years old). We are a loving, fun family based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (in the beautiful countryside but very near to a lively town, and the train is just over an hour to London).
The working hours would be around 50 hours per week – we also travel a lot so we need someone comfortable with travelling.
The ideal nanny must be comfortable taking sole charge of the children as both parents’ work. Here are some examples of everyday tasks:
- Pick up and drop off (both children attend part-time nursery). Therefore, a driving licence is required but we can provide a car.
- Do children’s laundry – iron, wash, sort wardrobes.
- Organise activities for the children.
- Read to the children and help them practise their reading.
- Clean the children’s bedrooms, highchairs, pram etc.
- Tidy up after the children but also encourage them to help tidy.
- Prepare the children’s meals and feed them.
- Bake with the children.
- Do bath time/bedtime routine.
There is the option to live in our house (a 5-bedroom, open plan house, with a large garden), or there is the option to travel from your own home.
Salary depends on experience but between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (payable monthly).
We want to find someone who is energetic, creative and enjoys spending their time with young children. We are looking for someone to start ASAP but obviously can wait for the right fit!
