A lovely family in Richmond are looking for a live-in nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby boy and 5-year-old little girl. This would be a sole charge role as both parents have very demanding jobs and will be working outside of the home. The nanny will have their own bedroom and en-suite bathroom on their own private floor. Their daughter attends school full time, so much of the focus will be on their baby son. The ideal candidate would be confident with all nursery duties and able to support with homework (basic maths, spelling, and reading). The nanny must be affectionate with very calming energy, as it is key for the parents that a loving and safe environment is created for the children whilst they’re not present.

A typical day would be downstairs for 8am, feed the baby his bottle and assist the older child with breakfast, drop the 5-year-old off at school (walking distance), take the baby for a morning stroll by the riverside, find some age appropriate classes (music/sensory) to attend and begin taking the baby a few times per week, return home for nap time, do the children’s laundry, pick up the older child from school, have some fun outdoors in the park, return home, dinner, assist with homework, bath and bedtime routine, 7pm finish.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm

Start date: End of June/Early July

Salary: £500-£800 per week gross

• Richmond upon Thames, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Nannying: 3 years (preferred)
• childcare: 1 year (preferred)
