We have an amazing opportunity for a highly experienced Nanny to care for a lovely pair of 3-year-old twins to work on a 24/5 basis Monday - Friday. We are ideally looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible as the summer holidays are fast approaching. The family are happy for candidates to live in or out on their days off.
This UHNW family are looking for a kind, caring, loyal and trustworthy Nanny to provide the best possible care for their children and requires someone who is fun and energetic. Knowledgeable and organised, you will be attentive, loyal, and discreet as well as imaginative and enthusiastic. As an experienced Nanny, you will be creative and always have age-appropriate activities planned.
The children go to nursery twice a week, so your duties will include school runs, organising after-school activities and playdates, cooking for the children as well as all other nursery duties. The family like to travel, so you would be required to travel with them as well. The ideal candidate should love sports and be actively involved with the children’s activities, have a great sense of humour and speak English fluently.
Working Monday - Friday, you will be expected to be on duty 24 hours a day, however, the children are sleeping through the night and you will get a lunch break. When the children are at nursery, you will be able to have some downtime as well. Accommodation is provided in a spacious en-suite bedroom near the children’s rooms and all living expenses and food will be covered by the family as well. There are separate staff facilities, including a kitchen, which you are more than welcome to use.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Cleaning and tidying all areas of the house
- Laundry and ironing, including delicates care
- Unpacking deliveries
- Packing and unpacking suitcases
- Running errands
- Rubbish and recycling management
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- Meal-prep as and when needed
- Child care as and when needed
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children to grow and thrive
- Be flexible with the varying daily schedule and become an asset to the family
- Be proactive in communicating with parents to ensure their needs are being met
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior childcare experience
- Experience with twins (Preferred but not essential)
- Full, clean UK driving license (Preferred but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to get one
- Fluency in English
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Hardworking, flexible and dedicated
- High attention to detail
- Excellent checkable references
