Production Operative/Musical Instrument Maker
- Salary to be agreed, experience dependent
- 4 Day working week (Mon-Thurs 7.30 - 4.30)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative/Musical Instrument Maker to join our team. This position is well suited to a focused, motivated and creative individual who is looking to develop the skills to make and service electric guitars.
This position is based in the production department and answers to the production manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Sanding guitar bodies and necks
- Pore filling guitars prior/during the finishing process
- Flatting back lacquer
- Polishing guitars
Being a creative hands-on role, occasionally you may be required to assist in other areas such as fretwork, inlay work and other general roles within the workshop.
Requirements:
- Good motor skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Experience working with either wood or guitars is beneficial but not necessary
- A keen eye for detail
- Be able to commute to Oswestry
