Are you looking for a part time music job that is both fun and fulfilling? Look no further than Accents Music Learning Centre! We aim to foster a life long love of music for all our students and teachers.
We are searching for someone who has a passion for music, a positive attitude, creative energy and loves working with children and teens.
You will be instructing children of all ages and skill levels to sing and/or play the piano on weekday afternoons and evenings (typically 3pm-8pm). Some weekend availability is needed for occasional recitals or other teaching requirements.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Music/Voice/Piano; other equivalent training program; or music experience required
- Prior teaching experience is an asset
- Familiarity with computer technology and programs (ex. Skype, Google Drive)
- Willingness to learn new programs and processes
- Organized and punctual
- Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of other instruments is an asset

COVID-19 considerations:
All teachers and students are required to wash or sanitize their hands upon entering the Music Centre. Masks are optional in the foyer and hallways of the Music Centre. High touch areas are sanitized throughout the day.

- DARTMOUTH, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
