Here at GXO we are looking for Multiskilled Operatives based at our Trafford Park site working on the Kelloggs contract.
The Multiskilled Operative is responsible for the operation of palletiser operations within Manchester Finished Foods Warehouse, ensuring routes, production, palletisation and shift controls are maintained to standard and safely.
You will be working 48 hours per week with a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights - 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Responsible for completion of checks and recording of results onto floor sheets/data entry systems, timely in line with plant procedures- Responsible for ensuring that the required QFS (Quality and Food Safety) standards are maintained and adhered to through following defined company policies and procedures. Promotes a food safe working environment
- Operates, maintains plant equipment to standard using SOPs and SOCs, completing all daily Autonomous Maintenance (AM) checks as per the area checks
- Responsible for ensuring that the required MSS (master sanitation schedule) standards are maintained and adhered to through following defined company policies and procedures
- Completes on shift handover to ensure clear and concise communication of operations status. This is performed at both outgoing and incoming shift time
- All warehouse operative responsibility applies
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Ability to work on own initiative- Confidence in utilising Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience of working within a Warehouse function with specific focus on stock and administrative tasks and duties
- Good attention to detail
- Work well within a team
