Overview:

Abacus Technology is seeking a Multimedia Producer/Director/Writer to develop content for a variety of platforms for the eMITS program at Johnson Space Center. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Create, develop and execute content including, but not limited to, long- and short-form videos, from beginning to end for distribution to general audiences on multiple platforms including websites, social media and television.
Make editorial decisions regarding assembly of information, illustrations and content.
Schedule, manage and direct production staff as necessary and provide technical expertise during production.
Work with live production staff, such as supplying video roll-ins for productions and assist with distribution of live productions to various social media platforms.
Coordinate between service customer and production staff to ensure that projects are effectively produced and delivered on time.
Perform quality control checks on multimedia products.

Qualifications:

4+ years experience creating content for a variety of multimedia programs. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Able to follow standard procedures and guidelines while applying a significant amount of creativity and judgment. Must be a creative storyteller capable of producing at high volume. Strong communication skills including writing and editing. May work on behalf of a particular NASA mission, program or project, or specialize in a relevant topical science or technology field. Must be a US citizen.
