Summary
We are looking for a Multimedia Content Creator to create engaging and on-brand assets. This role is primarily for producing content for our digital platforms (websites and social media) but also of 'hard copies', including flyers and catalogues. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track-record within a content creation role, this can be either personal or professional experience. Photography, filming and video and image editing are key skills for this role.
It is essential you have a portfolio of content creation, are familiar with social media platforms and trends, and have a keen eye for aesthetics and details. An artistic flair and a love for art and crafts would be advantageous.
This job is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years experience.
Responsibilities
As a Multimedia Content Creator, the scope of this role includes, but it is not limited to, the duties describe below:
- Producing content every day to feed the digital platforms as well as offline adverts.
- Finding the content opportunities (in our factories, in our studio, with artists, in our lab, at events, etc.) in order to feed our digital platforms with fresh content (images and videos) across the Daler-Rowney owned brands and platforms.
- Experience of photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Experience of video production, including filming, editing (preferably using Adobe Premier Pro or similar).
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
- Working with the Digital team to create content inline with the Marketing calendar.
- Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to further improve the creative direction for the digital platforms.
- Supporting the Communication Manager on professional shoots to create content and key partners and artists.
- Working with the Digital Executive and Graphic Designer to optimise the performance of the in-house photo studio.
- Supporting the Graphic Designer, when support is required, to design and develop concepts for brochures, catalogues, packaging, POS materials, advertisements and other 'hard copy' communication materials.
